Considered as one of the most exciting fashion innovators in the country, Randy Ortiz gained national prominence in the early 1990's when he revolutionized men's wear. His mixture of prints and colors gave the traditional male a new way to dress. After his debut, he joined Sari- Sari Store where his collection became a fashion staple.
When he ventured into ladies wear, he became an instant hit with Manila's fashion set and still is the favorite of movie and TV celebrities. His wedding ensembles continue to dazzle any bride's imagination.
A favorite of show producers for his talent and his ebullience, Randy has staged numerous shows in Manila and in various cities abroad such as Miami, Florida and Vancouver, Canada. He was the President of the Fashion and Design Council of the Philippines (FDCP) from 2002 to 2005. Randy played a major role in realizing the organization’s mission vision, which is to introduce Filipino design to the global market and to boost the local fashion industry by supporting the pool of young designers in the country.
Randy continues to lead the way in the fashion scene. He recently staged his 20th Anniversary gala entitled Aspirer, which was dubbed by Metro and Lifestyle Network as the most important fashion event of the year. A-lister celebrities, high society, fashion designers and enthusiasts, media and press flood into the gates of the gala. As the only designer who can create glitz and glamour in the red carpet, Randy Ortiz is truly a celebrated designer by the stars, the society and the country.
